Doing dry January? Seeking an alternative? Try Kombucha... with a twist ;-)

So! It's the New Year and you're trying dry January...just a few days in and already it feels like a struggle. How will you ever get to the first of February? Well, we think this might help...

Have you heard of Kombucha? Neither had we, until we were tagged in an Instagram post back in the summer from @angelaupinsmoke. It read "I had the pleasure of trying Cathy's Spiked a Summer Kombucha this week. She used 1 drop of Mary's 1:1 Tincture. For 250 ml; start with 1 drop, stir with ice. Work your way up if you want more of a return otherwise try a 4:1 like this one pictured. All you taste is the flavour of Kombucha!" Here's the pic...

So what is Kombucha? Well, according to Medical News Today "Kombucha is a sweet, fizzy drink made of yeast, sugar, and fermented tea. It has a number of potential health benefits, including gut health and liver function." Annnnnnnnd...potentially it can help to reduce the risk of cancer, infections and heart disease. We think this might be a great alternative to alcohol if you're attempting dry January, especially if you add one of our tinctures :-)
